Mark L. Lindon BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Lindon has over 30 years of corporate, finance and business experience from both law firm and in-house positions. He has handled numerous corporate, finance, mergers & acquisitions, technology, licensing, intellectual property, development and distribution deals. He regularly advises companies, investors and entrepreneurs on transactional and operational matters, and frequently handles the purchase and sale of businesses, financings, distribution agreements and a wide variety of other contracts.

Mr. Lindon was general counsel for Bioness from 2006 until its sale in 2021. Bioness is a medical device company founded and majority-owned by Alfred Mann, the legendary medical device billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist. (Mr. Lindon was in-house from 2006-2009 and thereafter served as a consultant and outside general counsel.) Mr. Lindon also represented Mr. Mann in a wide variety of other matters unrelated to Bioness (including mergers & acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and litigation management) from 2009 until Mr. Mann’s death in 2016. Mr. Lindon was appointed to the Bioness Board of Directors in 2016 to fill Mr. Mann’s seat, was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2017 and served on the Board until 2021.

Mr. Lindon is a co-founder and strategic advisor of AndMark private equity. AndMark Management Company and its affiliates are the managing member of the AndMark Funds, real estate funds investing in multi-family properties in secondary U.S. markets. The AndMark Funds have engaged in aggregate investment transactions in excess of $1 billion, including purchases, refinancings and sales of multifamily properties across 14 states.

Mr. Lindon began his career as a corporate lawyer for the New York law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, where he spent eight years. At Stroock he successfully represented a wide-range of clients (early stage to Fortune 50) in numerous complex mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture capital investments, debt restructurings, public and private debt and equity offerings, financings and licensing transactions. He then founded his own law firm and continued to practice in these areas in addition to advising hedge funds, structuring investment partnerships and advising numerous small and medium size companies on various matters.

Mr. Lindon received his A.B. degree from Georgetown University where he graduated magna cum laude in interdisciplinary studies (government, economics and philosophy) and played rugby for 7 seasons. He received his Juris Doctor from the UCLA Law School, where he was Executive Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal.

LISA H. JUELLE BIOGRAPHY (Of Counsel)

Ms. Juelle has over 15 years experience practicing general corporate law. Ms. Juelle started her legal career as a transactional attorney at the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP from 1999 to 2004, where she represented corporations, commercial and investments banks, institutional investors, and insurance companies in various corporate transactions, including acquisition financings, secured and unsecured credit facilities, senior and subordinated debt and equity offerings, private placements, acquisition financings, and mergers & acquisitions. After leaving O’Melveny & Myers, Ms. Juelle has continued to represent her clients in a wide range of corporate matters.

Ms. Juelle received her A.B. degree from Princeton University in 1994, and her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University, School of Law, in 1999 (with cum laude honors).  Ms. Juelle was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999, and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, in 1999.  She is fluent in Spanish.
